Troubleshooting

Resolve common sync, Family Sync, import, OCR, and diagnostics issues.

Common Sync Issues

If sync appears delayed, confirm iCloud is available, Settings > Sync & Sharing shows iCloud Sync on, then tap Sync Now. If Family Sync is unavailable, confirm Pro is active, the owner has not revoked access, and the invite was accepted with the intended iCloud account.

Import Issues

If import fails, confirm the file has a header row and data rows, try UTF-8 CSV, check required field mappings, and use Merge before Replace. Use Settings > Sync & Sharing > Backup & Import > Restore Backup for Fuel Warrior backup files and Import CSV for spreadsheet imports.

OCR Limitations

If OCR values look wrong, retake the scan with better lighting, flatten receipts, avoid glare on pump displays, choose the scan type manually, and review all values before saving.

Diagnostics Guidance

When reporting sync issues, include whether the issue is private sync or Family Sync, device count and Apple IDs involved, vehicle name, last known correct device, Email Support with Diagnostics, and whether attachments or photos were expected to sync.
