Properties, Inspectors, and Templates

Inspectors represent the people performing inspections. Add inspectors in Settings, optionally mark one as default, and use inactive or deleted states when an inspector should no longer be offered for new inspections. Existing inspections are not changed when inspector records are inactivated or deleted.

Properties are the homes, units, commercial spaces, or short-term rentals being inspected. Supported property types include Single Family, Apartment, Condo, Townhouse, Multi-Family, Short-Term Rental, Commercial, and Other. Deleting a property hides it from active lists without deleting existing inspections.

Templates define the checklist structure for future inspections. Add templates from Settings, choose inspection type and property type, then add, edit, or delete sections and checklist items. Duplicate a template when you need a variation without changing the original.

Templates affect future inspections only. Existing inspections keep the copied checklist they were created with. Deleting a template hides it from new inspections, and deleting sections or items affects that template rather than completed inspection history.
