Supported Road Trip formats
- Road Trip CSV exports detected by the Road Trip CSV markers and fuel-record headers.
- Supported Road Trip archive files, including the `.roadtrip`/RTVD-style backup data that Fuel Warrior can recognize.
- The app also accepts generic CSV fuel logs, but those use the generic mapping flow rather than the Road Trip history-preserving flow.
What Road Trip data can transfer
- Vehicle metadata where it is available in the source.
- Fuel logs and their supported fuel fields.
- Maintenance records.
- Trip records, tire records, and valuation records from supported archive data.
- Imported source notes so records remain identifiable as coming from Road Trip.
- Road Trip trips and valuations appear under Vehicle Detail; tire records remain available in the relevant vehicle record views.
How to import Road Trip data
- Export your data from Road Trip MPG using its current export or backup workflow.
- Save the Road Trip CSV or supported archive file to Files or another location accessible to Fuel Warrior.
- Open Fuel Warrior and choose Settings > Sync & Sharing > Backup & Import > Import CSV, or start an import while adding a vehicle.
- Select the file. Fuel Warrior detects Road Trip CSV or supported archive data and opens the Road Trip import review.
- Review the separate counts for vehicles, fuel logs, maintenance, trips, tires, valuations, and any skipped duplicate fuel logs.
- Choose an existing vehicle to merge into or create a new vehicle from the file, then confirm the import and review the resulting vehicle history.
Road Trip import limitations and troubleshooting
Only formats the current importer recognizes are supported. If an export is rejected, try exporting again from Road Trip MPG and keep the file in its original form. For CSV imports, confirm the file contains its header row and data rows. Use Merge first unless you intentionally want Replace behavior. If counts or records look wrong, keep the source file and contact Warrior Software Support with the app version and import format.
