What the Fuelly import supports
- Vehicles grouped by the Vehicle field when present
- Fuel rows with Date or Date/Time, Odometer, Gallons, and Total Cost
- Optional fuel details such as Cost/Gallon, Octane, Gas Brand, Location, Notes, Filled Up, Payment Type, and Tags when present
- Service rows imported as maintenance records with service type, date, odometer, cost, notes, tags, and payment details
- Note rows imported as vehicle records with notes, date, odometer, location, payment, tags, and any amount represented by the source row
How to import Fuelly CSV data
- Export your vehicle history from Fuelly as a CSV file using Fuelly’s current export workflow.
- Save the downloaded CSV file somewhere the iPhone, iPad, or Mac running Fuel Warrior can access it.
- Open Fuel Warrior and go to Settings > Sync & Sharing > Backup & Import > Import CSV, or use the import action in the vehicle setup flow.
- Choose the exported file. Fuel Warrior detects a supported Fuelly CSV and opens an import preview.
- Review the vehicle, fuel log, maintenance, and note counts. Choose an existing vehicle to merge into, or import the file as a new vehicle.
- Confirm the import, then review the vehicle, fuel log, and record totals. Export a Fuel Warrior CSV package as a portable post-migration backup if you want one.
What does not transfer automatically
Fuel Warrior imports the Fuelly fields it currently maps. Fuelly fields outside that mapping are not promised to transfer as dedicated fields. Fuel Warrior also does not import a Fuelly account or create a Fuel Warrior account. Review the preview and imported records before enabling iCloud sync or using Replace.
Troubleshooting a Fuelly import
Use the CSV file produced by the export rather than a screenshot or copied table. Make sure the file has a header row and data rows, and export it again if it looks incomplete. Use Merge for a normal migration; Replace is intended for intentionally replacing local data and can remove local vehicles, fuel logs, maintenance, and records. If required fuel fields are missing, check that the CSV includes Date, Odometer, Gallons, and Total Cost. If the result is unexpected, keep the original CSV and contact Warrior Software Support.
