PDF Quality, OCR, and Recent Scans

Choose Small, Standard, or High quality based on the document and your preference for file size versus image detail.

Enable optional on-device OCR when you want a text layer in the PDF. Recognition depends on the scan quality; review the source page if text is not recognized as expected.

Recent Scans shows the filename, date, page count, and destination for recent work. If a destination already has a file with the same name, the duplicate behavior can ask, keep both, or replace. Check the destination and filename before choosing to replace.

Scan Warrior does not use an account or document-processing backend. Scanned content stays on device unless you save it to a Files location or share it. A selected Files provider or sharing destination may handle the PDF under its own behavior.
